Regularly washing your hands and wearing masks, gloves, and gowns are said to be more effective the medicine when it comes to preventing the spread of diseases, like SARS and the flu.
A report states that there are evidence which suggest that the use of vaccines and antiviral drugs will be insuffiecient to interrupt the spread of influenza. Handwashing with just soap and water is one of the most effective way to prevent or lessen the spread of respiratory viruses.
